MOSCOW, Nov 27 (PRIME) -- The net profit attributable to shareholders of Russian metals and mining group Mechel soared on the quarter to 6.304 billion rubles in July–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Tuesday.
Revenue fell 3% to 79.965 billion rubles, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) decreased 17% to 19.206 billion rubles.
In January–September, Mechel’s profit attributable to shareholders fell 1% on the year to 10.997 billion rubles. The group’s entire profit remained almost flat at 11.93 billion rubles. Revenue rose 6% to 237.003 billion rubles, and adjusted EBITDA increased 3% to 60.646 billion rubles.
Net debt decreased 0.6% in January–September to 464.179 billion rubles as of September 30.
